Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Richmond

About who needs care: My mom is in great shape at 92. Curious, interesting, walks with a cane, 'active.' Recently, back pain has been intense. We are working on a solution and relief. In the meantime, I've been staying with her. Making meals. Reminding her to take pain meds. Light household tasks. I also find her interesting movies and documentaries on TV, which is too complicated for her to navigate on her own. She just needs a little extra help and a pleasant companion. She strongly dislikes 'baby talk' from home helpers-- just FYI. She's hear others do that to her friends. Otherwise, she's great! Would love some suggestions. About the care needs: Interests: Nature, Art, History, Books. Personality traits: Loud and bossy doesn't work; someone who is low-key, knows when to disappear, and practical-minded--she greatly values common sense. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
