About who needs care: My mother lives in an independent living apartment at Harbors Edge. She has COPD and uses oxygen tanks when she leaves her apartment which are heavy and cumbersome. Looking for reliable source of transportation to visit friends and go to functions in/around Tidewater area. Need someone who can go to her apartment and assist in getting oxygen tanks and personal belongings downstairs (elevator) to the car. She is very social and recently gave up her car so I am trying to find a solution that will keep her physically active and emotionally healthy. Services needed include: transportation, and mobility assistance.
