Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Norfolk

About who needs care: My stepmom is bound to a wheelchair recovering from a stroke. She needs assistance with getting in and out of the wheelchair to go to the bathroom and get in and out of bed. She wears Depends and needs those changed when necessary. Just recently moved to Norfolk from Woodbridge, VA. A little scared and apprehensive being in a new Senior facility having come from an independent home. Enjoys watching TV, reading from time to time and doing crafts. Loves to try to work limbs to get stronger and increase mobility. About the care needs: Someone that is experienced with working with the elderly. Someone that is strong and comfortable with lifting and skilled in doing so. Knows how to take care of female needs. Being able to help with make up would be a plus! Someone that is outgoing and comforting. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
