Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Mechanicsville

Hello - We are seeking companionship and assistance for our amazing 92yo father with early/mid-stage dementia. He lives in an ALF but they will not provide the additional assistance we want for dad. The greatest need for dad is someone to motivate him to get out of his apartment - go to daily activities in the ALF, to the dining room for meals and to walk more. Other needs are: ensure he is in clean clothes, keep his clothing drawers and closet straight, make sure laundry is completed, and very light housekeeping/tidying. We may ask you to accompany him to medical appointments when needed and keep track of household items running low. Dad is a staff favorite but you will need patience as he has very little short-term memory and loves to tell his fascinating life stories repeatedly. *Days and hours can be discussed. Thank you!
