About who needs care: No underlying conditions, able to drive, able to do everything, needs someone to talk to, watch TV, have a snack, feed the birds, talk about her family, take a short walk, maybe interest her in a game of scrabble. Ideal day would be to pet a dog, she wishes she could have a dog again but she knows she can't take care of one and we, her daughter on son in law, can't handle everything plus a dog. She and companion could drive a mile to McLean Animal Hospital which has alot of actually well dogs coming in for grooming and that's a good way to meet people and pet their dogs. She would love that. About the care needs: Mellow, laid back, a great listener. If the person had a laid back dog they could bring over to visit that would be a major plus. In fact, that would seal the deal like crazy. She wouldn't miss me at all if it meant a dog was coming over that she could just sit on the couch and pet. No specialized skills just listening and major benefit if they could bring their dog. Specific hobbies: Dogs! Services needed include: companionship.
