Hands-on Care Needed For My Husband In McLean

I'm looking for part-time assistance caring for my 72-year-old husband who has Parkinson's disease as well as mobility issues resulting from back surgery several years ago. Some of your responsibilities would include medication management, assisting with bathing and dressing, companionship, mobility assistance, motivation to stay active during the day, minor meal prep, picking up prescriptions and occasional transportation to appointments (vehicle will be provided). We are looking for someone who is compassionate, caring, patient, empathetic and has good communication and interpersonal skills, but also someone who will encourage him to do as much of his own care as possible so he can love a more independent life. We can guaranty a min. of 5 hrs/day.
