About who needs care: Elderly mom with Alzheimer's disease. Living at Heritage Green Memory Center. Looking for a kind, patient, caring person to spend 2-3 hours a day M-F to assist her with drinking from a cup and with hand/spoon feeding. She has recently declined and can no longer feed herself effectively. Heritage Green would still be responsible for all transfers, dressing, bathing, room cleaning, etc. This is a position for extra assistance with feeding, drinking, companionship and to assess her living situation daily for any unmet needs she may have. About the care needs: Patient, kind person with a heart for elder care. Experience working with people with dementia preferred but may not be required. Services needed include: companionship.
