Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Herndon

Seeking an aid to help care for my mother in Herndon VA. She is 87, diabetic with neuropathy and weak but is mobile with a walker or even a cane. She needs help in the mornings, to be woken up at 9:00 a.m. .. make sure she gets out of bed safely and takes her sugar levels and insulin and other meds with a healthy breakfast. Assist her with dressing if necessary. Talk her through any dementia issues that arise. Take her for a walk around the building. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Please be willing to do very light housekeeping. Set her up with lunch before you leave.. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Only English speakers as first language please. 2 -3 hours max per day. Sense of humor is a bonus.
