About who needs care: She is still trying to drive herself and will go to Pilates occasionally but often forgets times now. My FIL also lives in the home and is very hard of hearing and she is exhibiting sundowners and tries to pack and go home at night. She frequently says I dont know where they keep things here, this isnt my home. She will forget shes cooking, hides things and cant remember where, etc. About the care needs: Really just understanding memory care and dementia. My MIL has a small dog that she is very connected to. She still thinks she can do things alone and wants to be independent but we are trying to convince my FIL she is past that point and he is starting to admit he is having trouble handling her himself. She likes to knit and do needle point. They like to watch basketball and softball. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
