Companion Care Needed For My Parents In Fairfax, VA Seeking care for my elderly parents ages 89 and 90 who live independently. My mom is the primary caregiver for my dad- she makes simple meals and manages the household but needs assistance with laundry and a companion/transportation to the grocery store./ dr. appointments. My father uses a walker (he's unsteady) and is often forgetful of his daily activities and routines. Mom brings everything he needs to him in the living room. Mom loves quilting and genealogy. Dad watches movies or news, plays sudoku on his iPad and naps. The right candidate would be conversational, compassionate, patient, able to prepare simple meals, assist with errands, complete light housekeeping and will allow my mom to have her independence while supporting her needs and interests.
