Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Fairfax

We are looking for a caring and compassionate companion to spend time with my mother in our (and her) home. Responsibilities would be to offer friendly conversation, help with meal times, transport mom to appointments throughout the week (hair, doctor, physical therapy, etc.) Caregiver must be willing to talk with others in order to communicate mom's needs if she is unable to, and must be comfortable with big, but gentle dogs. Mom is mobile, performs her own ADLs, and uses a cane. We are looking for someone who can fill in when necessary and for someone who would like a regular day every week.
