Hands-on Care Needed For Grumpy Old Man

Care needed for grumpy old man with mid-stage dementia with medication, hygiene (bathing, changing, brushing teeth), meals, light housekeeping. He is resistant to hygiene so need to be able to cajole and outwit. Relaxed atmosphere as he mostly sleeps and watches tv between meals due to mobility and memory issues. Must be licensed due to insurance policy. Need experience in the kitchen with food prep. We work from home so available if needed. We can be flexible with hours for the right caregiver, but right now the schedule is 7:30 am-1:30 a.m. three days a week with a desire to expand to five days a week. We could consider an evening schedule. The biggest challenge/responsibility is the showering and hygiene. Non-smoker comfortable with cats. Looking for someone who is a true caregiver with a calm, peaceful presence and common sense.
