About who needs care: Mom had hip replacement surgery and her recovery has been more difficult and much slower than anticipated. She cannot be alone yet. Needs someone to hold walker as she stands from lift recliner, needs minor support in bathroom (i. e - making sure she is steady as she sits, stands, pulling up pants, flushing) She needs help with exercises, ice, and getting up to move. About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor and positive vibe, Patience with some memory and processing issues and someone who can be passive aggressive/ sarcastic at times. Someone who is reliable. I have scheduled appointments that I need to make and canceling and rescheduling is hard. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
