About who needs care: My grandmother is a sweet 89-year-old lady who needs a bit of care the in mornings and evenings to check her blood sugar and administer medicines. Because she has dementia, occasional house checks while there (like throwing out old food, checking to see if toilet paper is low etc) would be very helpful to her. About the care needs: Looking for someone or a team of people who are available in the mornings, evenings, or both for a quick drop in to administer medicines, check-in with her and see how she is feeling/doing, heating a meal (evenings only), and letting me know about any needs around the home. Occasional help with errands would be helpful, like a run to the grocery store for a loaf of bread etc. Someone experienced with insulin would be perfect.
