Family is in a search for a female private duty nurse for our mom, a 96-year-old, who is in an assisted living facility. Mom has increasing dementia but is in good physical shape for her age; She now needs full shift monitoring & assistance, eg starting her day; reminders to eat, exercise and socialization and then prepare for evening time. Direct needs may include: Support Hygiene and Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Assistance Dressing; Ensure proper hydration; Provide joint participation in personal hobbies, including puzzles and arts and crafts.; Provide notations of daily monitoring of required medication; light housekeeping. Seeking to add to our current Companion/CNA team for 1-2 days per week (esp Sat and Sun. that would be scheduled ; needed days may grow) . Need fully dependable and responsive caregiver.
