Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Salt Lake City

About who needs care: My mother has a form of Alzheimer's called Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA) - it affects processing visual information and shows up with some of the more typical elements of dementia but also has some unique characteristics. She is 77 years old and was extremely independent until 2 years ago when we realized she needed help. In the past 2 years we've had to move mom 3 times - from her 3 bedroom home in Florida into independent living in UT, then we moved into Assisted living early this year, and lastly sadly we had to move her into Memory Care just a month ago because she is very disoriented/wandering at night and we had an incident where she got locked out of the building in the middle of the night. That said, she still is very functional and with it when it comes to a lot of aspects of daily life. Definitely starting to struggle more and more but, we're really hoping for someone to spend time with her in the mornings to escort her out of the memory care facility and over to the assisted living side to go on walks or use the gym equipment, occasionally go on outings, really just be a companion. She is definitely more 'with it' than a lot of the other folks living in the memory care facility so hoping to give her an opportunity to stay conversational and active with someone. I live nearby and usually visit 3 times a week in the afternoon after work, so hoping for someone that can come consistently in the mornings to really set her up for success for the day. About the care needs: Someone super friendly and understanding of memory/dementia tendencies would be so helpful. I'd really like to have someone that is flexible with what they are able to help with and that I could stay in close communication with. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
