About who needs care: My mother who would be recovering from an open heart operation, (she's still in the ICU while we wait for her to be stabilized. My father who is undergoing treatments for liver cancer. Schedule could be more like 2-3 days of help. About the care needs: Kind, patient, loving, consistent and wants to be there. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, mobility assistance and help staying active. Reminders for taking medications and the ability to monitor symptoms. (As an example, my father didn't realize my mom needed to go to the hospital for her shortness of breath. Her heart rate may have been at 150 for 4 days). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing, mobility assistance, medication reminders.
