About the job
Help needed for my mother in her late 80's and father in early 90's. Seeking part-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the following. Help with medication for both, light housekeeping, and help her with bathing and hair care. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation, and help with laundry. Companionship is a big part of this position. So a desire to converse and keep them somewhat active, is required. We might ask you to run an errand, or take them to a local doctor appointment, but we don't expect that to be a regular request. Caregiver must be a non-smoker, and love a small dog. CPR / first-aid trained, desired. Flexibility is a plus as there are some days, on occasion, we may not need help. Applicant does not need to cover all of the hours. More than one person may be hired, as needed.
