About who needs care: My sister had a stroke in her brain stem and cerebellum 15 months ago. She has a PEG tube for feedings and has a trach currently but we are moving toward removing it. She communicates w thumbs up/down and by blinking. She is bedfast but needs regular range of motion exercises. About the care needs: Someone who is respectful and kind but has a sense of humor would be grand. They need specialized training. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
