About who needs care: Seeking care companion for my 91 yo grandmother for my destination wedding in Houston, Tx. Looking for someone to help ensure she doesn't fall while walking with her rolator, ride on the shuttle with her to/from the venue, make sure she can get up from the toilet without falling, assist with dressing. Shes a firecracker of a woman who is determined to see her granddaughter get married. Huge bonus if can also help her roll her hair in rollers & help her see her makeup for the wedding day! About the care needs: Need someone who will not get their feelings hurt if she snaps at them. The loss of independence and needing someone to help has been hard on her as she has only needed it the last year. Someone who can crack jokes with her & fire back with her sarcasm. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
