Personal Care Assistant / Community Aide (Spring / The Woodlands)

Looking for an energetic & loving person to take our 24-year-old blind son, Spencer, on community outings / experiences & assistance with activities of daily living care. Spencer is very social person, he enjoys Woodlands trolly rides, bike riding, walking, going to mall, grocery shopping, sport games, music, events, bowling, & swimming. The ideal candidate has warm, compassionate demeanor, some caregiving experience. Has good communication skills & is punctual. Driver's license & vehicle required. Experience as HHA, CNA, or related healthcare field, occupational, PT, or speech therapy, respite care, developmental delays, or blindness would be plus, but not req. PT 20-25 hrs per week, typically 3 shifts/week 6-8 hrs each, Flexible! Occasional overnight care, once everyone is comfortable.
