65-year-old recovering stroke patient needs home care. M-F 7AM-12 p.m. Some flexibility on hours/days. NOT AN ELDERLY PERSON! Incomplete quadriplegic. No mental issues, can speak, drive wheelchair and eat/drink on own. ADA friendly home. All care equipment available - electric Hoyer, standing frame, RT300. Quad experience & knowledge of basic PT and OT a plus. Ability to manage bowel program and hygiene is required. Dressing, light meal prep & light housekeeping (i. e., sweeping, changing bedding, laundry). Duties include transportation (therapy, doctor's appointments, grocery pick up, etc.) ADA Van provided. Need non-smoker who is comfortable with well-behaved pets. Ideally, open to periodic (1X every 6-8 weeks) short (2-3 day), live in care needed for spouse to travel for work. Current DL and Social Security Number Required.
