About who needs care: My 91yo step-dad is dealing with chronic pain and limited mobility due to fractures in back. He can walk, use toilet, etc. slowly with a walker. Would need help relieving my mother from caregiving a few hours a day, so that she could run errands and have a little time to herself. Duties would consist of companionship, retrieving needed items like a blanket or cell phone, etc., and being available in case of an emergency. Would probably be 4 hours at a time, 2-3 days a week. About the care needs: Professional (mannerism and appearance) , patient, sympathetic, understanding, kind, and pleasant. Someone with healthcare experience would be a bonus. Services needed include: companionship.
