Companion Care Needed For My Father In Round Rock

About who needs care: He has vascular dementia, experiences short term memory loss daily. Lacks the ability to stay on task or finish a task. Experiences exhaustion after completing a task, needs additional stimulation outside of spending time on his phone. Some behavior issues, such as stubbornness and absolute refusal to do a task. Occasionally with his family members can get verbally abusive and confrontational when frustrated with a task, however never physically violent towards family/friends, does on occasion tend to loose his temper and lash out emotionally. About the care needs: A male individual would be best, he comes from an older generation (ex soviet union). He is russian, culturally a bit different, lived in Texas since 2001. LOTs of patients, must love conversation. He needs daily walks, must be able to engage him in an at home activity or help him run specific errands. He needs about 3hrs a day of spending time with an individual who is outside of the immediate family. He lacks variety in daily tasks, and needs help staying on task. He loves talking about the old days of being a pilot and needs someone to engage with him as authentically as possible. Someone with a physical therapy back ground would be great. My father does not need extreme training/PT work, but light exercise has been the best way for his brain to experience fatigue as well cardiovascular fatigue. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
