About who needs care: My partner and I work from home. My father lives with us and has dementia. He's pleasant and verbal but has failing short term memory and doesn't get it that we're working. We also have a small elderly dog that also needs some companionship during the day. We need some help during the day so we can work undistracted. About the care needs: He likes crossword puzzles. He used to be a coach and likes to watch women's basketball, softball, and other sports. He also likes to play Uno and Trouble. Would be good if the helper could help make him a simple lunch-sandwich and fruit. Services needed include: elder companionship, help guiding light PT/exercise, lunch prep & clean up, afternoon feeding for elderly small dog.
