About who needs care: Pt is 21 and has autism. She typically does very well and is stable in her current meds. I need someone who has experience with mental health issues and knows how to de-escalate. This young lady is not my child. I have taken her in. My daughter is typical here most of the day. She is also austic and caring full-time is not helping her mental status. Sophia likes arts and crafts, making jewelry, has an interest in cooking, loves animals, wants to eventually work with sharks. She is immature for her age. About the care needs: Personality needs to be nurturing, calming, a good listener, help her grow, and has mental health experience. Doing crafts would be helpful. No specialized skills per se, just reminding to take meds. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
