About who needs care: My mom is 98 and in two weeks will be 99. She is still mobile and can eat by herself if someone puts the food in front of her. She has slight dementia but I don't know what kind it is since she will not go to a doctor. She doesn't have any hobbies. She mainly wants to die. She sleeps a lot. She is not in diapers. I mainly need someone to be with her when I go out once in a while. She mostly sits in her chair, sleeps in her reclining chair or goes to bed. I would like to have the person over for lunch to introduce my mother and the caregiver as my friend. So she doesn't know I'm paying someone to look after her. She is very frugal. No work required. Maybe just give her her meal and wash up afterwards. About the care needs: I would like someone who likes to talk. Mom speaks Polish but she does know some English. She would love to sit and talk if she likes the person. So someone who is very patient, easy going, understanding. Person who feels comfortable just talking away when my mom is up to it. No hobbies needed. Services needed include: companionship.
