About the job
Hi there. My mother and I are searching for reliable and empathetic caregiver to keep my grandmother (86) company while my mother drives in to Houston for work at least once monthly from 6-5. She is the sweetest lady. However, she has developed onset of dementia within the past couple of years. Her symptoms consist of short term memory loss with some long term. She shows no signs of aggression, but sometimes she might get confused and sad. She had hip surgery ~1 year ago, but now she walks(she likes to forget her cane everywhere), does chores, watches tv, goes to the bathroom by herself. We just don't want to leave her alone for so many hours of the day.
