About who needs care: My friend was a college professor and still loves to read. She sings in the church choir when she can get a ride. She had an accident a few years ago that impaired her walking, but she is well enough to stand and walk now, but has some balance issues. She has trouble remembering some things, but functions well on her own. Does her own housekeeping and light cooking. She has no family in the area. Her church friends occasionally visit. About the care needs: A quiet, intelligent person would be a good fit. Love of books would be a plus. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
