About the job
I'm looking for a senior care provider 2x per week, (flexible) with experience (and a sense of humor) for my mom, Susanna, who just turned 95. She lives in a house in Sun City, Georgetown TX. Susanna is sharp as a tack, and healthy for the most part, but is very hard of hearing, so a lot of patience needed there. She has a Masters' degree in History, and was formerly employed at a large state university. She loves crossword puzzles and is an avid reader. She might correct your grammar, very old school! It's difficult for her to walk very far. She needs help with light housekeeping (dishes, vacuum, bathrooms) and changing linens, and nearby errands, and, of course companionship. For transparency, she leans liberal politically and will engage in lively conversation about that. Mom sleeps very late, so afternoons preferred.
