We need a caregiver for our 28-year-old special needs son. We need a minimum of 12 hours mostly on the weekend, but it could be more depending on the week. To be effective the candidate needs to be able to do the following: - Treat our son with dignity and respect showing empathy and concern for his care - Follow a schedule to administer medicine and to keep a log of the activity during the shift - Spoon feed him meals - Change diapers (applying the diaper as instructed) - Change clothes - Take him out of the house when appropriate for walks in his wheelchair and van rides - Do his laundry when necessary - Transition him between his bed and wheelchair and wheelchair and stander - Cooperate and coordinate with current caregivers to learn from them while administering care
