About the job
This is a live-in position that covers room, bills, access to a vehicle and pays $50 per week. You would be working on Tuesdays and Saturdays (8:45 a.m. - 3 pm) to help my dad with dressing, medications and physical exercises. You would also sit with him 4 evenings per week (3 p.m. - 8:30 pm) while he is watching tv. In exchange, you have your own room (furnished or not) and private bathroom in a newly built home. My dad is in a wheelchair and uses a powered stand-assist device for transfers. There is no lifting, and I will train you how to use the device. My dad is mentally sharp and a positive, spiritual person. He is difficult to understand so native English speakers are preferred.
