Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandmother In Galena Park

About who needs care: She has peripheral neuropathy. Its too difficult atm for her to walk on her own. we do PT 5 days a week and she's learning to use the walker but is too weak to use it on her own right now. Essentially she needs help getting in and out of bed, to the restroom, to her office (using wheelchair) etc. She has a method for getting herself up and onto the toilet once she is wheeled into the restroom so minimal help is needed there. She is a smoker but is willing to smoke only outside if that is a deal breaker for getting assistance. Currently trying to encourage her to quit. Other needs she might have are things like cleaning, cooking/meal prep, basic errands, but id say the primary thing right now is just getting her around the house when needed. she would need someone in the evenings at the very least so that her son that lives with her can get a break from helping her. Because of her neuropathy she gets up very frequently. Maybe every 2-3 hrs at night to get up and pee. While it would be ideal for her to have full time assistance, I know it can get really pricey so would love to see options for part time scheduling. Even if late evening assistance isn't an option I'd like to see what's avail. Thanks About the care needs: Of course a nice and caring personality. Someone that is patient. Maybe someone that can cook? but I'm not sure if that is needed right now. I don't think there are any special skills that are needed atm. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
