Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Elgin

About who needs care: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable in-home caregiver to assist a patient with severe mobility limitations due to neuropathy. He will need help with daily living activities including continence care and medication reminders (not administration just reminders). The patient receives physical and occupational therapy separately, so therapy-related duties will not be required. The schedule would be flexible but preferably evenings or weekends. Ideally 20hrs a week. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver is patient, detail-oriented, and able to calmly engage in clear, step-by-step communication while providing reassurance and narration during tasks. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
