About the job
Help needed for myself, a 49-year-old C-5 six quadriplegic - seeking part-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Some light tidying up is involved. One of your responsibilities will be helping with picking me up from wheelchair to shower bench and back, help preparing meals. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Experience, taking care of a quadriplegic would be a bonus, but it's not hard to learn my routine. Must be able to lift 130 pounds, have their own vehicle with insurance and a valid drivers license. Any references from past jobs would be nice to have as well. If you accept and like the position, we can talk about more hours, if interested.
