About who needs care: My mom had a stroke on 12/28 and has left side paralysis. She is undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer as well. My step dad lives at home with her but her needs are beyond his care at this point. She needs someone to bathe her, maybe cook a meal and just be a companion for a few hours each day. About the care needs: Someone who will push her to do at home exercises for stroke improvement, encourage her to eat when she doesn't want to, and help improve her overall mood. She is very discouraged right now. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
