About who needs care: She is an uncontrolled diabetic. History of stroke a heart attack. On blood thinners. She does not have any real structure to her day. She needs standby assistance for showers. We need a female that is assertive in encouraging her to do this. She prefers to "wash up". Need someone to do basic cleaning occasionally food preparation. I currently provide transportation for her medical trips. About the care needs: Female as she won't shower for a male (standby assistance only). Needs a friendly personality as she loves to chat and show photos. She currently dresses independently; however, she doesn't always get dressed and spends time in her room watching TV. So, encouraging her to get dressed and come to the Livingroom. Do not need someone to administrator medications, but make sure she has taken them (just ask to see her pill sorter for today). Take trash out to outside trash bin, maybe move to the street, depending on the day. Maybe meal prep on days caregiver is there. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
