We need a companion to take care of my loved one in Bryan. Patient is completely blind due to recent illness, and hearing is very limited. She is able to talk and understand words written on her palm. She needs someone to transport her to a number of therapy appointments each week. Actual hours are yet to be determined -- probably 6 to 12 hours a week. Days unknown. We will work with your schedule if we can! . Duties include transporting client and may need to assist her with communications with therapists. Some of the time included will be wait time. We are offering $10 an hour and mileage reimbursement at the IRS medical rate. Ideal position for a student. Additional hours could be added for at home companion care.
