About who needs care: Mom has moderate dementia and needs transportation to a series of social/memory care groups she attends. She doesn't have any mobility issues and still communicates well. Her Tues/Wed groups meet in West Lake Hills and Bee Caves. Her Mon/Thurs group meets in Round Rock. About the care needs: Mom is nostalgic for her home town of Lisbon, ND, where she was the daughter of a grain farmer, and her time in the Navy in VA during the 70s. She loves to laugh and sings along to her favorites from the 60s and 70s. If you can find common ground with her on any of these things, she will be happy to see you every time. She relishes good company and needs some joy. She is aware of her dementia and mourning all the loss that comes with it. Services needed include: transportation.
