About the job
Looking for care Sat & Sun 8AM-8 p.m. Shifts can be split in half for more than 1 person if the right fit. He is 73, had a stroke 15 yrs ago. Independent in ADLs. Walks w/ ankle brace & cane. Looking for companion care to drive him in his car, help maintain his schedule, give med prompts, & help with pet care & light chores around the house. Likes to go for drives in his classic car, go to car shows, play chess & video games, watch documentaries, try new restaurants, & spend time with family. Has a great sense of humor & loves conversation & telling stories. Has caregivers 7 days/wk 8AM-8PM, so working as a team w/ good communication is a must, as is a clean driving record. Must be dependable. Has a cat and small dog. Pay is through payroll company, taxes withheld.
