About who needs care: 85-year-old with dementia. Hobbies/interests: sports, movies, food It would be ideal to get outside via a walker or wheelchair at least once a day to encourage movement/exposure to daytime. He loves to watch movies and sports. It would also be great to engage in memory-building or engagement exercises to help with his dementia. Brother serves as primary caretaker and needs a break. Can be flexible on scheduling but ideally some nights. About the care needs: We would like a CNA who is available at least two days/week. Experience with dementia is ideal. Duties may include administering medications, companionship, mobility assistance, light meal prep, light housekeeping, assistance with personal care and hygiene as needed. Ideally caretaker is located in South Austin.
