About who needs care: My 83-year-old aunt is diagnosed with Parkinson's and uses a walker.. She is an artist, Austin native who enjoys living alone in her downtown condo for now. But she can no longer drive and could use more companionship and supervision. She is highly creative, loves cooking, reading the New York Times, talking about her travels and life experiences. She enjoys going to art shows, local shops, appreciates nature, However, she sometimes looses track of time and responsibilities. It would be ideal if you can cook healthy meals with her, stay organized and gently manage her time. Interest in art, recipes, nature and travel is a must. My aunt is very intelligent and craves mental stimulation. She will require mobility assistance for outings and she needs someone who will take her places in their own car that can accommodate a walker. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
