Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Austin

My sweet mother is living with Parkinson's and recently needed hip replacement surgery. She is navigating her recovery and we are needing help throughout the day with things like transfers, mobility support while walking, toileting, and supervising physical therapy exercises as she works toward her recovery. She loves poetry, music, art, word games, and card games. We are looking for someone for a few hours during the weekdays (not necessarily every weekday) and who could work about one evening a week for a few hours, so that I can do some errands and work. Sometimes, when doing transfers or PT exercises, she will be fearful of falling or just very tired, so someone who can both remain calm, but gently and firmly help her to push through is important. My husband does work from a home office and would be present some of the time.
