At-Home Caregiver Needed For Elderly Couple In Central Austin

Starting asap, seeking caregiver for two elderly adults, ages 85 and 82, in the Tarrytown neighborhood of Austin. Both have early on-set dementia and one has early signs of aphasia. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and work diligently with the family's team to establish a satisfying, healthy and safe quality of life. As with any geriatric care, patience and empathy are a must; strongly prefer experience and expertise in this area. Meals & Cleaning - Daily breakfast, lunch, dinner meal administration & kitchen clean up. Cooking not required; warming up prepared meals & ensuring they eat. Medication - Daily check-in to ensure they have taken medication Out of Home Appointments - Transportation and note-taking for doctors' appt., errands In-Home Appointments - Schedule and facilitate on-site visits
