About who needs care: My father is very good-natured and enjoys meeting and chatting with others. He uses a walker, has hearing aids, and "fuzzy memory" (his words) but is otherwise in good health. He has lived alone in his home for 25 years since my mother passed away. About the care needs: He prefers a female caretaker and thoroughly enjoys visiting but is also content to read or watch TV. He rarely leaves the house because he has severe arthritis in his knees and tires easily. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
