About who needs care: My mom has been independent and active until recently. She is sharp as a tack, enjoys her TV shows & her News. Our hope is that she can recover from this setback and return to previous level of functioning. She is currently bedridden and on oxygen. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver is someone that has experience & knowledge of caring for seniors & end of life needs. Someone that can encourage her to eat & drink, do in bed exercises, stand & walk, & treat her with dignity & respect, anticipate her needs and that is very tidy and organized. Her home is her castle and she likes her belongings put away. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, changing linens, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
