About the job
Hands-on care is needed for my 80-year-old mother who is blind and mobility impaired. Caregiver assists with all daily tasks, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Light housekeeping, including laundry, is needed. Assistance with using cell phone, reading mail, and completing forms. Occasional transportation needed for appointments and errands. Must be physically able to assist client getting in and out of vehicle and lifting rollator or wheelchair as needed. IMPORTANT -- Experience with managing and administering medication is required. Caregiver also needs to provide companionship. Looking for someone with a friendly, outgoing personality who enjoys conversation and has a good sense of humor. Must love cats! Must have current Home Health Aide or CNA certification.
