About who needs care: I have progressed. multiple sclerosis. I live in a wheelchair and a hospital bed. I need help with daily tasks with giving out of my bed using a hoyer lift. Getting dressed. Getting bathed. I need a live in home. health aide who will get paid through the state. About the care needs: This is tough. I need somebody who. has a good heart. Somebody who can cook and enjoys cooking. Somebody who listens to music and enjoys music. Somebody who is not afraid of some. of some hard work. But most of the time. we will be hanging out. Having conversations. I enjoy science and. the arts. I curse. I'm not religious. I'm funny I write movies and comic books. I have a comic book in the works right now. So I like the arts and I like to clean house and I. hate having to tell somebody what to do if we do it everyday. Somebody easy going. Most days I will have the music on trying to think of something to write.. I would like to get a turtle. as a pet. I have been approved for. public housing. a two bedroom. So I need a live in health aid. At least a one year commitment. Possibly permanent if it works out and we like each other. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
