About who needs care: Wife- Jennifer, has ALS. Is confined to a power wheelchair. Communicates with a Tobii Dynavox Eye Gaze. Just recently received a tracheotomy and is on a ventilator full time. About the care needs: Anyone that has been trained in ICU care. Familiar with how to dress and clean an immobile patient. Absolutely must be capable and willing to use a suction device on trache site and mouth. Friendly, clean, non smoker Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
