About the job
We are looking for someone who is comfortable & knowledgeable interacting with someone who has Alzheimers disease. Important- Experience managing and administering medication required. Some light housekeeping tasks are involved throughout the day. Responsibilities include assisting with basic ADLs such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting. Assistance with toileting includes toilet hygiene (pulling pants down/up and wiping). Assistance with dressing includes putting on disposable briefs, threading pant legs, taking bra and shirts on/off. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation and looking for a caring, compassionate, & patient caregiver. We ask that you handle your transportation (to and from home) as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and CPR / first-aid trained.
